Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Pulling stock: The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for accurately pulling stock that is needed for customer orders using the RF scanners and the TWL software and preparing the material for delivery with correct skid and material labels. The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for picking our truck orders for staging for next day delivery as needed. They also assist drivers in loading and unloading their trucks as needed.
  2. Packing orders: The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for verifying the pulled material for the orders and “packing” the orders using the TWL RF scanners. This process creates and prints a packing slip for each order.
  3. Material handling: The Picker/Warehouse worker uses a variety of equipment to move material throughout the warehouse on a daily basis. Equipment, particularly forklifts, must be used safely and correctly to prevent injury to personnel and minimize damage to stock.
  4. General Warehouse Duties: The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for general warehouse duties, such as keeping the warehouse clean, neat and orderly and assisting in the other warehouse areas as needed, such as putting away stock, etc. The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for maintaining warehouse stock in the correct location in a clean and sellable fashion. The Picker/Warehouse worker is responsible for being polite when working with customers and outside vendor truck drivers.
